How to create a simple banner using Adobe Photoshop.
First of all determine the size of the banner. As for this tutorial, i'm using a W: 800 pixel, H: 250 pixel with 300 resolution.
- File > New > Custom > Set Title > set Width and Height > Ok

- Designing your banner, this is the most interesting part. You'll spend hours doing this. ;)
- Background colour
- Select color from color pellets > gradients tool / paint bucket
- You also can add pattern to your background by using Pattern
- Adding Images
- Select images from file (internet or personal)
- Open / Drag pictures to Photoshop > Drag / Copy paste to the canvas
- Fill it with Filters for more options
- Adding Text
- From T tools, we can add text

- Then, make up your banner to attract others.
- Finally, save your file.
- .pdf file - for future editing
- .GIF - for web
- .jpeg - most commonly use (quit big for web)

- Layout page > upload image (the banner that has been created)
